About Pastor Ryan
Pastor Ryan Rippee grew up in Vallejo and moved back into the area in 2018 after ministering in churches in the North and East Bay for 18 years. Now living in Benicia, his heart is to serve this community with the love of Jesus Christ. Ryan and his wife Jennafer have raised 5 children and love spending time with their nieces and nephews and extended family here in Benicia. He received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Davis in History, his M.Div. from The Cornerstone Seminary, and his Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Spirituality and a minor in Church History. To unwind, Ryan loves teaching Brazilian Jui-Jitsu at Rooted Jiujitsu here in Benicia (it's more blessed to give chokes than receive them!).
About Pastor Amel
Pastor Amel Dominguez serves as the Co-Pastor of Trinity Church of Benicia and the Director of Missions for the Redwood Empire Baptist Association. He has returned to the Bay Area, his childhood home, after 15 years of dedicated ministry in Hawaii. His service in Hawaii included seven years of church planting and eight years of church revitalization work, experience he now brings to his ministry in Benicia. He holds a B.A. from Grace School of Theology, an M.Div. from Trinity Theological Seminary, and continues to sharpen his skills as a student at Gateway Seminary. Pastor Amel and his wife, Vangie, have raised four children together. When he’s not serving or studying, he finds great pleasure in a leisurely game of pickleball.
